U.S. Air Force personnel assigned to the 374th Air Expeditionary Wing conducted practice drops Dec. 4-5, prior to the delivery of cargo bundles for Operation Christmas Drop 2025.

As a training event, OCD25 allows participants to practice dynamic delivery via airdrop in a dynamic environment of uncontrolled and non-surveyed drop zones; a critical capability unique to the Indo-Pacific region.

The 374 AEW trains and employs rapid deployment, to include Operation Christmas Drop, demonstrating their ability to project humanitarian assistance, logistical and airlift support across the Indo-Pacific region at a moment’s notice.
