Royal Thai Air Force commander reaffirms strong alliance with U.S. Air Force

Gen. Kevin B. Schneider, commander of U.S. Pacific Air Forces, met with Air Chief Marshal Panthpakdee Pattanakul, commander of the Royal Thai Air Force, Aug. 18, 2025.

During their visit, Schneider and Panthpakdee strengthened ties and discussed multifaceted cooperation between the Royal Thai Air Force and the U.S. Air Force. Both sides exchanged views on training, education, and enhancing capabilities in areas such as cybersecurity, space, and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.

Panthpakdee expressed gratitude to Pacific Air Forces for its support, while Schneider reaffirmed the robust partnership, expressed appreciation for the cooperation between the two air forces, and commended the Royal Thai Air Force’s role as a key U.S. ally in the Indo-Pacific region.

The U.S.-Thai security partnership is rooted in a shared commitment to preserving a peaceful, prosperous and secure Indo-Pacific region. This collaboration will continue to promote regional security.
