KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea --   Col. Scott Pleus, 8th Fighter Wing commander, and his wife, Jennifer Pleus, received a chance to walk in the shoes of the Airmen from the 8th Medical Group during an immersion tour here, Aug. 9. The couple toured the dental lab, ambulance services, radiology and pharmacy and participated in a medical emergency response scenario.

The 8th MDG offers outpatient services including family practice, dental, internal medicine, aerospace medicine, physical therapy and optometry. The group consists of the 8th Medical Operations Squadron and 8th Medical Support Squadron. The group serves a customer population of nearly 3,000 active duty Air Force and Army personnel and a small number of dependants and retirees.
