The Lt. Dan Band performs to say 'Thank you'
JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii --
The Lt Dan Band with Gary Sinise held a lively concert at the Freedom Tower on base Feb. 10.
"I've seen him three times...he's a great entertainer and patriot," said Col Mark Bednar, 13 AF/A7 director. Col. Bednar presented Gary Sinise with a directorate coin as a thank you for the great performance.
The Lieutenant Dan Band has an extraordinary commitment to the USO and began performing for the organization in February 2004. The band plays an average of 30-40 shows per year with the majority of the shows for the USO, charities, or benefits.
