Taking the fight North: Airmen continue to press-on during base exercise
KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea --
Airmen here continue operations as the base proceeds in its operational readiness exercise, Beverly Midnight 12-01, March 20, 2012. Inspectors test all elements of wartime contingencies and how efficiently service members are able to activate and respond to enemy forces.
While the base's normal day-to-day operations are completed, bases exercises are designed to provide realistic training environments that mimic what wartime operations would be like. These exercises include self-aid and buddy care, evacuations, mass casualty response, aircraft generation and mission oriented protective posture training.
