LIEUTENANT GENERAL PAUL J. SELVA

Lt. Gen. Paul J. Selva is the Vice Commander, Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor- Hickam, Hawaii. PACAF is responsible for Air Force activities spread over half the globe in a command that supports 45,000 Air Force personnel serving principally in Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Korea and Japan.

General Selva graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1980, and completed undergraduate pilot training at Reese AFB, Texas. He has held numerous staff positions and has commanded at squadron, group, wing and headquarters levels. Prior to his current assignment he was the Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Washington, D.C.

General Selva is a command pilot with more than 3,100 hours in the C-5, C-17A, C-141B, KC-10, KC-135A and T-37.
