ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam - Team Andersen Airmen tour a B-52 Stratofortress from the 5th Bomb Wing, Minot Air Force Base, N.D. that is here to support the continuous bomber presence in the Pacific, March 10. The Pacific Airpower tour was created to help show Airmen how they contribute to the Andersen mission. During the tour, Airmen get the chance to visit multiple units located on base, either deployed or permanent party, giving them a deeper look into what others are doing during their tour here and what essential role they play in the mission. An A-10C aircraft from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, arrives March 9 to Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. The U.S. Air Force is deploying 12 A-10C aircraft from Davis-Monthan to Osan for approximately six months as part of a scheduled deployment. The unit, called the 354th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, will replace the 100th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron at Kunsan that is returning to the 187th Fighter Wing, Alabama.
