8th Fighter Wing Public Affairs

10/17/2011 - KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- The 8th Fighter Wing took 16 students of Sinsido, Biyondo and Yamido Elementary Schools from islands near Gunsan City, on a tour of the wing, here Oct. 14.

Tour highlights included a visit to the flightline to see an F-16 Fighting Falcon, a Military Working Dog demonstration, and visits to the Wolf Pack's Fire Department and Explosive Ordinance Disposal flight.

The tour is part of a "Good Neighbor" effort to continue building relationships with local communities whose support of Kunsan AB allows Wolf Pack Airmen to help keep the Republic of Korea safe and secure.
