7/22/2011 - KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Airmen from Kunsan Air Base's 8th Civil Engineer Squadron's explosive ordnance disposal flight and emergency management flight, along with the 8th Medical Operations Squadron's bioenvironmental engineering flight, participated in a final field evaluation of the Joint Firefighter's Integrated Response Ensemble Mod one-piece suit July 22.

The J-FIRE is designed to provide firefighters with protection from the effects of chemical and biological agents, and thermal protection during firefighting operations. The evaluation tested the suit's design, fit and fabric.
