Beverly Herd 17-1 takes off
OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea – Exercise Beverly Herd 17-1 kicked off on Feb. 26, during which the 51st Fighter Wing Mustangs and their partner units will train on a variety of different objectives.
The exercise, which is scheduled to last through March 3, will see an intensification of flying schedules while ground forces practice readiness and responsiveness to events ranging from attacks to demonstrating extended survivability.

Osan Air Base hosted approximately 80,000 visitors during Air Power Day 2016, Sept. 24 and 25, highlighting the alliance between the U.S. and the Republic of Korea while using the opportunity to get to know one another better as good friends and good neighbors.

With their extensive and rigorous training, the Airmen from the 51st Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal flight protect the Airmen and families at Osan Air Base from any explosive threat.
