U.S., Japan and Australian forces kick off COPE NORTH 2020

A Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) F-15MJ Eagle assigned to the 304th Squadron, Naha Air Base, Japan, lands at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Feb. 11, 2020. Exercise CN20 is an annual U.S. Pacific Air Forces trilateral field training exercise with participants from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, JASDF and the Royal Australian Air Force. The primary intent of CN20 is to enhance coordination of combined air tactics, hone techniques and procedures while strengthening security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
