The 51st Civil Engineer Squadron structures flight, the Dirt Boys, remove 18 feet of ruptured taxiway with an excavator at Osan Air Base, Aug. 4 to 6, 2018. The Dirt Boys utilized Rapid Airfield Damage Repair (RADR) processes, which are used to quickly restore a runway to functional use after damage. RADR involves the use of a specialized cement, which sets and hardens to a functional standard in the span of a few hours, where normal cement would take days. (Courtesy photo)
