PACANGEL-Philippines cements partnerships, provides infrastructure for schools, students

Working as members of a engineering civic action team for Pacific Angel Philippines, Airmen 1st Class Bryan Wallace, from the 354th Civil Engineering Squadron, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, (left) and Army Staff Sgt. Andrea White, from the 84th Engineer Battalion, 130th Engineer Brigade, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, work to trim a piece of wood to be installed on the ceiling of Dao Elementary in the Bohol Provence, Philippines, Aug. 20, 2015. Dao Elementary is one of six schools repaired by the U.S. and its Indo-Asia-Pacific allies during Pacific Angel Philippines. Efforts undertaken during Pacific Angel help multilateral militaries in the Pacific improve and build relationships across a wide spectrum of civic operations, which bolsters each nation’s capacity to respond and support future humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
