PACAF brings humanitarian assistance to Burma

Tankers Keep Fighters Fighting
A KC-135 Stratotanker from Grissom Air Reserve Base, Ind., provides in-flight refueling to an F-16 Fighting Falcon from Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, over the Pacific Alaska Range Complex, America's largest training range, during a Red Flag-Alaska exercise. Eielson Air Force Base and Elmendorf Air Force Base are the home of RED FLAG-Alaska, a realistic, 10-day air combat training exercise held up to four times a year. First responder training

PACAF supports Bangladesh relief operations
Members of a 37-person team from the 36th Contingency Response Group, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, help offload a C-17 from Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, at Zia International Airport in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Promoting Regional Security and Stability
Air Force fighters, bombers, tankers and air control aircraft occupy the flightline at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Tuesday. The aircraft, deployed from several Air Force bases, are here to promote regional security and stability through three main focus areas: a continuous forward presence; a robust international exercise and training program; and significant joint military training exercises. By maintaining a continuous forward presence and conducting joint exercises, the Pacific Air Force is able to foster improved relations and interoperability with its regional friends and allies. Earthquake relief supplies unloaded in China
CHENGDU, People's Republic of China (May 18, 2008) -- Earthquake relief supplies from the United States are unloaded at the Shuangliu International Airport in Chengdu, China. Two U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster aircraft delivered food, water containers, blankets, generators, laterns and various hand tools, which were taken immediately to earthquake areas.
