PACAF honors 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year
Pacific Air Forces Commander, Gen. Kevin B. Schneider, presents the PACAF Airman of the Year award to Senior Airman Joshua T. Davis, 607th Air Operations Center target list manager, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, alongside Chief Master Sergeant Kathleen M. McCool, Pacific Air Forces command chief, during the 2024 PACAF Outstanding Airman of the Year ceremony in the Courtyard of Heroes on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, June 10, 2024. Some of Davis’ achievements include providing direct targeting support for OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE, enabling strikes in response to adversary attacks which resulted in 7 U.S. casualties. A Koku Jieitai (Japan Air Self Defense Force) US-2 is refueled by U.S. and JASDF service members during Exercise Cope North 20 at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Feb. 20, 2020. The 36th Logistics Readiness Squadron Fuels Management Flight won the Pacific Air Forces Best Fuel Flight for 2019, and is one of three bases considered to win the American Petroleum Institute Award, an award given to the best fuels team in the U.S. Air Force. Cope North 20 is an annual trilateral field training exercise conducted at Andersen AFB and around the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), Palau and Yap in the Federated States of Micronesia. COMPACAF visits Kadena
U.S. Air Force Gen. Lori Robinson, Pacific Air Forces commander, presents the Distinguished Flying Cross to U.S. Air Force Capt. Richard Scott, 33rd Rescue Squadron evaluator pilot, on Kadena Air Base, Japan, Aug. 3, 2015.
