Ambassador Tours C-17 Globemaster

Jeffrey L. Bleich, the American Ambassador to Australia, enjoys a seat in a C-17 Globemaster III while visiting U.S. personnel participating in the 2011 Australian International Airshow in Geelong, Australia, March 2, 2011. The event is one of the largest airshows in the world. The U.S. and Australian alliance spans more than 60 years and provides an opportunity for U.S and senior military officials to engage with their Australian counterparts, and ultimately contribute toward interoperability between the forces. The C-17 crew is assigned to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Cohen A. Young)
